The Art of Translation: Translate a Beloved Poem into English
Is there a short poem or song you love that’s in your heritage language, or another language you’re familiar with? Join Sally Ito, Winnipeg Public Library's Writer-in-Residence and Burl Horniachek, experienced local translator, for a workshop on the art and technique of translation. Dictionaries and technology will be provided to help translate your piece into English. If you do not have a poem or song to translate, other options will be provided.
