UW Community Lecture: Marvelous Milk: The many functions of human milk
Most people think of human milk as food for babies. But human milk serves many more purposes than simply acting as food, helping babies fight diseases, have a healthy gut, and helping with brain development. Learn about the latest research on human milk with Dr. Sanoji Wijenayake, Canada Research Chair in Milk Nanovesicles and Associate Professor of Applied Health at the University of Winnipeg. This presentation is part of the 2026-2027 UW Community Lecture Series .
